Question: I can't see my writer in User mode using Windows 2000 or XP. If I login in as the Administrator everything works fine, why? Answer: Our software requires access to the ASPI layer to talk to the Writer. The security built into Windows 2000 & XP prevents access to the ASPI layer unless you are logged in as the Administrator. Unfortunately this is a Windows limitation and is a common issue with other writing softwares. So the only workaround is to be login as the Administrator.
